Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe, has finally announced the hotly anticipated release date for update 1.6 on console and mobile. The developer behind the 30 million-selling farm life simulation game said in a tweet that 1.6 hits console and mobile on November 4, 2024.

Stardew Valley 1.6 free Update Officially releases on March 19

  The upcoming 1.6 update for Stardew Valley sounds like it's going to be quite substantial, despite originally being planned to be smaller in scope. With new festivals, a New Year's Eve event, a new farm layout choice, late and end-game content expansions, new items, NPC dialogue and clothing updates, expanded multiplayer support, billboard request rewards, and miscellaneous additions, players have a lot to look forward to.
